Bruce Haack
has created, ;to the time of this record ten albums which
are among the most unique teaching concepts ever devised.
He writes the words, lyrics and music which he performs
and engineers - mostly on elec tronic instruments he invented
and built by hand!
After having jointly produced his first album 'Dance
Sing and Listen' with dance educator ESTHER NELSON,
he then created 7 more albums for Dimension 5 including
in some dance stories by Miss Nelson -whose voice is also
featured along with Bruce on the albums.
His "WAY-OUT
RECORD FOR CHILDREN" (remember
the motorcycle ridr?) was followed by 'THE ELECTRONIC
RECORD","TOGETHER", the soulful "DANCE
TO THE
MUSIC" (which some kids call the "hand-jive record",
and
now "CAPTAIN ENTROPY". Of course his early albums
"DANCE SING LISTEN AGAIN" AND "DANCE SING
AND LISTEN AGAIN AND AGAIN" are established classics
even though in those days he was only able to record in
mono on two small home-type tape decks!
Other recordings by BRUCE HAACK include the powerful
documentary on DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR - read
on recording by children and published by Scholastic Rec
ords. His early poetic-electronic-rock album "THE
ELEC
TRIC LUCIFER" on Columbia Records CS-9991) is used
in part in the book-record series "EXPLORING MUSIC
8"
shed by Holt Reinhan and Winston. Along with all
this he has created award-winning commercials for TV and
radio, music for industrial shows and films, and co-
authored music for Broadway and Off-Broadway plays and
pop songs with PRAXITELES PANDEL - Dimension 5's music
consultant.
Loving reviews and endorsements of the art and genius
of BRUCE HAACK have bean instrumental in the sharing of
his works with many thousands of children, parents an
d teachers nationally and in other countries. A list of
