THE MUSIC:
Most of the music on this
album was programmed on a polyphonic music computer built by Bruce Haack from surplus parts furnished by Ver-Tech Radio of Philadelphia, The machine was made In 18 months without diagrams or plans (Bruce Haack has never studied electronics) and will produce up to twelve simultaneous voices in changing sequence via a memory holding over four-thousand bits of information. It will also compose at random. Bruce Haack has created to the time of this record even albums which are among the most unique teaching concepts ever devised He writes the words, lyrics and music which he performs and engineers mostly on electronic instruments he invented and built by hand! After having jointly produced his first album Dance Sing and Listen' with dance educator ESTHER NELSON. he then created 7 more albums for Dimension 5 including in some, dance stories by Miss Nelson whose voice is also featured along with Bruce on the albums His 'WAY-OUT RECORD FOR CHILDREN' remember on recording by children and published by Scholastic Records. His early poetic-electronic-rock album "THE ELEC TRIC LUCIFER" on Columbia Records ICS-9991 I is used in part in the book-record series "EXPLORING MUSIC 8' published by Holt Reinhart and Winston Along with all this he has created award-winning commercials for TV and Radio, music for industrial shows and films, and co authored music for Broadway and Off -Broadway plays and pop songs with PRAXITELES PANDEL Dimension 5 music consultant, Loving reviews and endorsements of the art and genius of BRUCE HAACK have been instrumental in the sharing of his works with many thousands of children parents and teachers nationally and in other countries.
